PRINCE2® (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a widely used internationally recognised process based project management methodology. There are two PRINCE2® certification levels Foundation and Practictioner.
PRINCE2® Practitioner is the highest level qualification and is suitable for those who need to manage projects within a PRINCE2® environment. Certification provides you with an internationally recognised qualification enabling you to become a more effective project manager, bringing improved performance to your organisation and in turn improving your own employability. The 5 day programme consists of two parts; Part 1, Days 1-3: Foundation Certificate programme and examination on day 3. Part 2, Days 4-5: Practitioner Certificate programme and examination on day 5.

What is covered in this PRINCE2® Practitioner Certificate Course?
The programme covers the knowledge and application of the processes, components and techniques included in the PRINCE2®
Project Management Methodology. We follow the syllabus and requirements
of the APM Group Foundation examination and Practitioner examinations
including;-
- The process based approach
- Project governance
- Roles & responsibilities
- Product based planning and levels of plans
- Project controls & tolerance
- Management of risk
- Configuration management & change control
- Quality management
- Support services & commercial partnerships
On day 4 and 5, the course will focus on the application of PRINCE2® methodology using sample exam papers, followed by sitting the actual exam.
There is essential pre-course reading and activities to complete in advance of the course and evening study and examination preparation work during the training.
Accreditation and Certification
This course is accredited by APM Group. On successful completion of the examinations you will receive the
- PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate awarded from the APM Group. The examination which is a one-hour paper of multiple choice questions will be held on day 3.
- PRINCE2® Practitioner Certificate awarded from the APM Group. The examination which is a three-hour paper consisting of multiple choice questions will be held on day 5.
