During this workshop, we focus on training delivery skills and teach you how to assess the effectiveness of training with evaluation methods.

It also focuses on equipping participants with the skills and abilities they need to design engaging training programmes.
The syllabus for QQI Training Needs Identification and Design looks at the theory behind training along with the techniques needed to conduct a successful TNA and design an engaging training session.

Train The Trainer Course FETAC Level 6 has been deactivated by QQI. It has been replaced by 3 new training options: Training Delivery and Evaluation, Training Needs Identification and Design, and the QQI Special Purpose Award in Training and Development.
Together, these new programmes cover a more in-depth scope of the Training Cycle and offer a broader range of capabilities than the original Train the Trainer. We call these 3 training options our "Train the Trainer Courses".
If you already hold a Train The Trainer FETAC Level 6 award (course code: E30179), it will remain valid and continue to be recognised by QQI.
It may also mean that you are halfway to achieving the QQI Special Purpose Award in Training and Development. This is because many people who have achieved FETAC Level 6 Train The Trainer are entitled to an exemption from one of the courses that comprise the Special Purpose Award. Read more about this...
