Implementing and maintaining a robust Quality Assurance System is an integral part of our culture at Professional Development.

It is a key factor in supporting our objectives of facilitating a supportive, learner-centric approach to training and assessment and embed a strong, structured quality culture within the organisation.

Reasonable Accommodation Policy

At Professional Development, our aim is to create supportive learning and assessment conditions for all students.

This includes reasonable accommodation for any special requirements with regard to learning, assessment work, and course attendance.

Protection of Enrolled Learners Policy

In accordance with Part 6 of the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) Act 2012, Professional Development has established the following policy for the Protection of Enrolled Learners (PEL).

Purpose of this Policy

This policy ensures that, in the unlikely event of a programme ending or being unavailable before an enrolled learner can complete it, learners are refunded the moneys most recently paid.

Who does this policy apply to?

This applies to learners who have paid fees for programmes of longer than 3 months’ duration.

Policy

In the event that a programme in which a learner has been enrolled can no longer be offered, for any reason, Professional Development has financial bonding in place to provide a refund of all fees paid by the learner.

This policy is in place is to ensure that all learners, staff members, tutors, and other stakeholders feel safe, supported, and respected at all times.

Code of Conduct

In order to establish a respectful, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, Professional Development tutors outline housekeeping guidelines and a code of conduct at the beginning of every training programme.
