This PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Course runs in Dublin every month. It is intensive exam preparation that will prepare you to sit both the Foundation and Practitioner exams during the course. Our goal is that you will understand the processes, roles, principles, and themes of the PRINCE2® framework, and feel confident that you can pass your exams first time.
The delivery style of this course focuses on ensuring that you can apply the PRINCE2® framework to address the needs and problems of a given project scenario.
Here is an overview of what we cover during our 5-day PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Course:
We recommend PRINCE2® certification for anyone seeking an established, internationally recognised project management qualification. It is particularly beneficial as a way for those with little experience in the field of project management to gain a respected certification.
As the use of PRINCE2® is a requisite in many large Irish and UK organisations, (including many government departments), it’s a must-have for anyone serious about a career in project management.
Although some experience is helpful, there are no formal eligibility requirements for sitting the PRINCE2® Foundation exam.
PRINCE2® is one of the most widely adopted project management methodologies in the world. In fact, many large organisations, institutions, and state agencies in Ireland and the UK mandate the use of PRINCE2® processes for projects.
PRINCE2® stands for Projects IN a Controlled Environment. If you were to try and define the methodology in a short sentence, you could say that it focuses on what needs to be done in a project, and by whom.
Deciding on the right option for your project management training and certification needs can be a daunting process. Our project management experts are happy to talk you through the options and help you make the best choice for your career.
We also offer our PRINCE2® programmes for in-company training.
In-company is a focused style of training that affords you greater flexibility and a higher level of impact for your team. Here are some of the key benefits you'll gain with in-company training:

We run this course throughout the year in Dublin. Our Dublin training venues are all located outside the city centre, helping you to avoid traffic! Each training venue is situated close to the M50 and offers free parking for our delegates.
This course takes place over 5 consecutive days. Each day runs from 9.30am – 5.00pm. Training takes place on weekdays (usually Monday – Friday).
Here is our effective format for PRINCE2® certification:
Using the format explained in the question above, it is possible to get PRINCE2® certified within 1 week during training plus the 5 – 6 hours of pre-course reading.
This course has an exam preparation focus, meaning that it is very intensive and theoretical in style.
Although you will certainly gain knowledge and understanding of the PRINCE2® framework, you will spend a high proportion of time during training concentrating on exam preparation.
The PRINCE2® Foundation certification will never expire or need to be renewed. You will need to renew your Practitioner certification every 3 years.
This can achieved either by re-sitting your Practitioner exam, or through Axelos membership (costs apply).
There are 3 things we ensure all delegates know before the course begins:
There are no official experience requirements set out by Axelos for those working towards PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner certifications.
Although we sometimes have participants with no project management experience, we have found that some familiarity with a project management environment is helpful.
You will complete both the Foundation and Practitioner exams in class, during training.
The Foundation exam takes place on the afternoon of Day 3. You must pass this exam to progress to Practitioner level.
The Practitioner exam takes place on the afternoon of Day 5.
There are 2 ways to secure your place on one of our next PRINCE2® dates. You can Reserve a Place online. This provisionally holds your place for a maximum of 2 working days.
